Click to upload or drag and drop
PNG, JPG, WEBP, etc.
This tool helps designers, developers, and artists to extract exact color codes from any image. Here's how to use it:
Step 1: Upload Your Image
Click the upload area or drag and drop an image file (like a PNG, JPG, or WEBP) into the box. Your image will be loaded onto the canvas.
Step 2: Pick Colors with the Eyedropper
Move your mouse cursor over the uploaded image. The "Color Details" panel on the right will update in real-time, showing a preview and the color codes (HEX, RGB, HSL) for the pixel currently under your cursor.
Step 3: Save and Copy Colors
When you find a color you like, simply click on the image. This action saves the color's HEX code to the "Picked Colors" list for easy reference.
To use a color, hover over its code in either the "Color Details" or "Picked Colors" panel and click the copy icon that appears. The code will be instantly copied to your clipboard.
How It Works
The tool works by drawing your uploaded image onto an HTML5 canvas element. This allows us to use browser APIs to read the color data of any pixel on the canvas, providing you with instant and accurate color information without any server-side processing.
