Image Compressor for Gmail

Reduce the file size of your images without leaving your browser. This tool is perfect for optimizing images for emails, websites, or social media.

Step 1: Upload Your Image

Drag and drop a JPG or PNG file into the upload area, or click to select a file from your device. Your image will be displayed in the "Original" preview box.

Step 2: Adjust Compression Quality

Use the "Compression Quality" slider to set your desired level of compression. A lower percentage (e.g., 50%) will result in a smaller file size but may reduce image quality. A higher percentage (e.g., 90%) will maintain better quality but with less size reduction. The default is 80%, which provides a good balance.

Step 3: Compress the Image

Click the "Compress Image" button. The tool will process your image locally in your browser. The compressed version will appear in the "Compressed" preview box, along with the new file size and the percentage of reduction.

Step 4: Download Your Optimized Image

If you're happy with the result, click the "Download" button to save the compressed image to your device. You can re-compress with a different quality setting at any time.
