Step 1: Customize Your Invoice Design
At the top of the page, select a template that fits your brand (e.g., Modern, Classic). You can also choose an accent color to match your company's branding.
Step 2: Add Company and Client Details
Fill in your company's information in the "From" section and your client's details in the "Bill To" section. You can also upload your company logo, which will automatically appear on the invoice.
Step 3: Enter Invoice Details
Set the invoice number, invoice date, due date, and any applicable tax rate. These details are crucial for proper record-keeping.
Step 4: Generate or Add Line Items
You have two options for adding items to your invoice:
- AI-Powered Generation: In the "AI-Powered Item Generation" section, describe the work you did (e.g., "designed a company logo and provided 3 revisions") and click "Generate Items." The AI will create a detailed list of line items with descriptions, quantities, and estimated prices.
- Manual Entry: Click the "Add Item" button to manually add rows to the items table. Fill in the description, quantity, and price for each item.
Step 5: Preview and Download
Once all the details are filled in, click the "Preview" button to see a full-size version of your invoice. If everything looks correct, click "Download" to save a professional, print-ready PDF to your device.
